It’s about getting the original link plussed up. I’ve noticed that posting a link at wrong time of day gets 2-4 plusses at most, while later someone else can post the same link and it will go to the top of the charts. Dunno why that is.

I understand that, Thanos. We’ve all posted something and then another post pops up and it gets lost. But like I suggest, why not just the original? This is kind of confusing.

Like Thanos said, for purposes of the top link, only the first time it’s posted registers. Linking to a spinoff means that at least some of the hits will just be added to the original post (not all of them - I’m not sure why).
